Jesse Kidd was born in Santa Fe New Mexico to Fine Artist Elaine Kidd and Folk Artist Miguel Rodriguez in August of 1989. Jesse grew up with art as a part of his daily life. Throughout high school Jesse never stopped creating and when he graduated started college in fine art at SFCC. Jesse didn’t finish his degree until he went back to school in 2019 and graduated in 2021 with a degree in Fine Art in Drawing and Painting. In 2019 Jesse joined a local bike group Loops and has been an avid member since. Along with being a lover of bicycles Jesse’s other love is Magic: The Gathering and he spends many nights playing with some of his closest friend’s. Jesse’s love for ceramics came during 2026 when he did his first raku firing with his mother after she bought herself a raku kiln for Christmas of 2025 and has been enthralled with ceramics ever since.
